In the 28th minute, Haigang's forward Li Zhi scored the opening goal, putting his team ahead 1-0. The score remained unchanged until the 55th minute when Guangzhou Evergrande equalized through Zhang Hui. However, Haigang quickly regained control and sealed the win in the final minutes of the match.
